Quick DTS import question

I did a DTS import in SQL Server and it said that it failed to copydata between sql server to sql server, but when I do some basicrowchecks and run the application that uses the db, it appears that itdid in fact copy all the data. I noticed that the mdf and ldffiles are smaller than the source db, but I know this is common for anldf? Is it common for an mdf to shrink during dts? Can Idisregard that DTS wizard error since it appears the data was copiedover?
